Getting the word out on green cars and transportation
About LC
You’ll notice my company logo features a tree with a tire swing, symbolizing sustainability and its deep connection to the auto and transportation sectors.
For the past 20 years, I've served as a magazine editor and writer, online content webitor, and market research/intelligence analyst. These days, most of it's focused on Automotive Digest Weekly Green, where I get to track, analyze, and report on what's happening in the world of alternative fuel, hybrid, plug-in, and fuel cell vehicles. It's a lot of fun, and I get to attend key conferences and interview upcoming leaders, and maybe even speak on a panel. Over the years, I've been able to track automakers, fleet management, car rental, business travel, chauffeured ground transportation, and alternative fuel vehicles. Take a look at the Websites to Visit page for descriptions and links to organizations I've been connected with and others that you should know about.
There is certainly much to follow when tuning in: HEV, PHEV, EV, CNG, propane, hydrogen fuel cell, biofuel, and high mileage gasoline and diesel powered engines. What about government mandates in climate change, fuel economy, greenhouse gas emissions, and electric vehicle innovations? And if you love futuristic, sci-fi style stories, you'll love tracking green cars. GM's EV1, Toyota RAV4 EV, and Honda EV Plus are gone but did help pave the road for the extremely cool cars of the future. Much to follow and figure out. LeSage Communications takes pride in following the game -- who's winning, who's emerging, and what it all means for the future of the earth, its inhabitants, car buyers and buffs, carmakers and suppliers, and leaders and decision makers in transportation regulations, sustainability, fleets, technology R&D, activism, and innovation. It can be exciting, overwhelming, confusing, disturbing, frustrating, tedious, technocratic, and scary -- all on the same day.
There are a lot of people out there engaging in the conversation. Want to join in?
